Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has announced that due to recent rainfall and cooler temperatures across Wales in the past few weeks they are moving to normal status for the whole of Wales. This signals the end of periods of prolonged dry weather or drought across the country. The full statement can be read here.
Most rivers in Wales are now normal or notably high for the time of year and most groundwater sites are within normal ranges.
While this is welcome news we will continue to work with our customers, bulk supplier and regulators to preserve our precious natural resources and minimise wastage.
