If your water is classified as hard and you would like to soften it, you can install a domestic water softener in your home using an approved supplier.
If you install a water softener it is recommended that you leave a tap, typically your kitchen tap, unsoftened to provide unsoftened water for drinking and food preparation as most softeners add higher levels of sodium to the water.
